About Program
Known to the natives as the ‘fjord of lights’ for the way sunlight seems to dance across its landscape, the 42-kilometer-long Lysefjord is home to both Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock) and Kjerag, both of which are world-renowned hiking destinations. Besides these famous icons, the Lysefjord and its surrounding mountains offer limitless possibilities for outdoor adventures.
Join Outdoorlife Norway on our three-day guided trekking adventure and experience summertime in the beautiful Lysefjord. Traverse 20 kilometers while bridging a total ascent of 2,000 meters in just two days. Visit the former hydropower plant village of Flørli and climb the longest wooden staircase in the world (4,444 steps!). Get off the beaten track while navigating backcountry trails to the famous Kjerag Boulder, camp under the stars, and experience some of the best viewpoints Fjord Norway has to offer.
