NOW ENROLLING FOR SUMMER 2022:

Forum-Nexus Ultimate Summer in Europe is a multi-country summer study abroad program that will take you to 10+ European cities, all in 5 weeks (June 26 - July 29, 2022). Take a course and complete an internship to earn 9 academic credits transferable to your college or university.

Our 2022 itinerary includes: London, Amsterdam, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Rhodes (Greek Island), Brussels, Lugano, Lake Como, and Milan. Travel to even more cities/countries through weekend trips and excursions!

Internships are available in Hospitality Management, Communication, Marketing, Photography & Videography, and Management.

The best summer ever

This program is really one of a kind! I went to Europe not knowing anyone and never having been to Europe before but quickly made friends that turned into my family. From the moment you step off the plane adventure awaits. We spent all summer exploring the cities we were in and learning about the local culture. I got to visit world famous museums and see iconic sites like the Eiffel Tower. Every detail of the program was amazing from the hotels to transportation. They made sure that any question or problem you had they were there to help you. Classes we all really interesting, and Professor Hugo always made sure you had a good time. One of my favorite parts was paragliding the the French Alps with all my friends, it was truly unforgettable. This program is life changing and recommended it to anyone!

What would you improve about this program?
I thought the program was perfect! There was nothing I would change.

Best Summer of Your Life Starts Here!

At first I was nervous for signing up/applying for a study abroad program since I had never traveled on my own before. However, after finding Forum Nexus Study Abroad and meeting the team, I was more at ease and excited to be apart of it. I had the chance to travel and take courses - gaining cultural insight as well as college credit. I also made close friends from this experience. With your new friends - you can travel from country to country and city to city visiting local sites and attractions, such as La Louvre and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Colosseum in Rome, and the views of Mont Blanc in France. This program is well managed and safe for all types of travelers/students. It is also well balanced between course work and traveling. Best summer starts here with Forum-Nexus!

What would you improve about this program?
This program was spectacular in more ways than one. I would not improve anything about this program not because it's perfect but because it's well-rounded and well-balanced. It was a truly fantastic experience!!

Yes, I recommend this program

Experience of a lifetime

I was an intern for Forum-Nexus Study Abroad, and initially, I wasn't sure what to expect. I have heard of other people's experiences from studying abroad and all of them were positive, but I wasn't sure how I would handle being that far away from home. After spending a month in Europe with this program, I consider everyone involved part of my family. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I have Forum-Nexus to thank for that. This program is one of a kind. Forum-Nexus' uniqueness is what makes it incomparable to other study abroad experiences. I highly recommend anyone who is considering studying abroad to apply to FN. You will not regret it!

What would you improve about this program?
This program doesn't need any improvements that I can see. It was an experience of a lifetime.

Brandon is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from Robert Morris University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. His first study abroad experience was a university-sponsored nursing trip to Managua, Nicaragua to provide healthcare to underprivileged communities. Brandon has been working with Forum-Nexus for 3 years as an Admissions Advisor, helping students from all over the U.S. to explore options for their very first experience abroad.

What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory is seeing the Eiffel Tower for the very first time. In high school, when we had to choose which language that we wanted to study, I chose French because I wanted to be able to go on the class trip to Paris.

Unfortunately, I was not able to join the trip, but I was able to see the Eiffel Tower on my first trip with Forum-Nexus during our stop in Paris. I think being able to experience it as a young adult was much more meaningful, and I’m reminded of this memory each time I’m in Paris with FN students who are experiencing it for the first time!

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Being on the Forum-Nexus team has really taught me how to work efficiently in an always changing environment, as our program travels to several different cities and countries in one summer. I have also learned how to communicate through different language barriers and better understand and appreciate people from different cultures. I have been able to take these experiences and transfer them to my daily life.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

It is often difficult for pre-med and nursing students to find study abroad opportunities, but we offer several independent study courses related to healthcare and I think that makes us unique. One of our pre-med students from last year shared that he has had multiple interviews for medical school, and in each one of the interviews, he was asked to elaborate on his time and experience with Forum-Nexus. It is amazing to hear that students can use what they learn abroad with us to help stand out to potential employers.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Our summer program in Asia is my favorite program that we offer. We visit so many unique and wonderful places in a short amount of time. Each place is different and amazing in its own way, and it’s a perfect opportunity to dive in to the culture and lifestyles of the locals. I also love that, in all of our programs, we offer the opportunity for students to travel independently on the weekends, and there are so many amazing destinations within a short train or plane ride.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

We are a traveling program that visits multiple cities in multiple countries all in one summer. We live and learn immersed in the culture alongside the local population and we are really able to get a sense of how they live each day. I am especially proud of our team each summer when everything that we have worked for all year long comes together seamlessly. Our team is dedicated to Forum-Nexus and takes pride in the work that we accomplish every day.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

I believe that the biggest factor in being a successful company is believing in your product and being passionate about your work. We strive to provide a first-class experience for all of our students and each team member believes that what do every day is amazing. We are here because we all have been a student at one time or another, and first-hand have seen how life-changing Forum-Nexus can be.
