Learn the basic concepts of medicine and public health by witnessing them in action. Experience a holistic approach to medicine as you explore traditional medicine, nutrition and wilderness medicine while making an impact at the same time. Assist medical professionals while they care for patients, chart patients' vital signs and develop health education initiatives. Work in a pharmacy, observe clinical interactions with professional medical staff, assist psychologists and practice your Spanish face-to-face with doctors and patients.
