About Program

Bodil Bakken, owner, guide and musher at Norway Husky Adventure, invites you to join her on a weekend of dog sledding and ‘friluftsliv’ in the beautiful and remote mountains of Trøndelag, mid-Norway.

During the weekend you’ll hear inspiring stories of how Norway’s pioneering explorers such as Amundsen and Ingstad utilised dog teams to explore and work. You’ll be introduced to Norwegian crafts and traditions, learn about wool knitting and enjoy a visit to an artisan jeweller.
