API awards approximately $500,000 in study abroad scholarships annually ranging from $250 -$1,000 per student.
Popular Programs
Designed for advanced and superior level Spanish speakers who wish to study abroad in Seville, the Spanish Language and Humanities Program requires that students have completed at 3-4 semesters of college-level Spanish or the equivalent for admission. Students take 4-5 courses per semester, for a total of 12-15 credits.
This program caters to the needs of those with little or no background in Spanish who want to study abroad in Seville, by offering Spanish culture, business and science classes that are taught in English. Students at all levels may take courses in English with Spaniards. Students with more advanced study in Spanish can also choose from a variety of classes in Spanish culture and civilization, either with Spanish or other international students.
Designed for students who wish to study abroad in Seville with no previous knowledge of Spanish, the Contemporary Hispanic Studies program offers a number of cultural courses taught in English, and many also feature some Spanish language instruction.
Ideal for Engineering, Science or Math majors, this intensive three-week program offers students the option to take Differential Equations in English in Seville. This program allows students who want to get ahead in their major requirements over the summer, have a lighter course load their prior Spring semester, or even for those who might have fallen behind, the chance to do so in Spain, with NO prior Spanish knowledge necessary.
