$1,000-1,200 US dollars (depending on educational level)

About Program
Centro Educativo Futuro Verde is looking to hire an adventurous, highly qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated teacher to work with 5th and 6th graders teaching English subjects (ELA, math and science) in the jungle of Costa Rica.
Skills needed:
Hard-working, passionate for teaching and learning
Able to work independently, but with a keen sense of collaboration with colleagues
Adventuresome and resilient with good cultural intelligence skills
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
IB certified in PYP preferred
Key Responsibilities of the position:
Teaching a class of up to 20 fifth and sixth grade students
Daily lesson planning in coordination with approved curriculum
40 hours/week minimum at school site
Regular interaction with parents to ensure that all student needs are met
